Welcome to my online portfolio!
I'm Bruno, a young and versatile designer who thrives on exploring various realms within the realm of art and design. My creative endeavors draw inspiration from my wide array of interests and hands-on experience. This portfolio serves as a curated collection of works that I've passionately crafted over the past three years.
Having earned distinction upon completing a four-year course in interior design at Geneva, I delved into the intricate nuances of spatial composition and layout for diverse environments such as offices, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, and residences. My proficiency extends to producing comprehensive plans using specialized software such as Archicad and Artlantis.
Furthering my journey, I pursued an immersive year of fashion design studies at HEAD Geneva, driven by a desire to comprehend fabrics, materials, and garment production. To immerse myself in the world of fashion, I ventured to Paris, where I collaborated as a production assistant with Belgian designer Mats Rombaut on the ethically-conscious sneaker brand, Rombaut (2017). This experience enriched my understanding of ideation, ethical and sustainable materials, production processes, and the intricate network of communications spanning factories, stores, customers, and media outlets.
My academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from ECAL University in Lausanne. Here, I honed my design acumen, delving into the intricacies of form, function, and production modalities. My repertoire encompasses technical drawing, 3D CAD software proficiency (Solidworks, Rhinoceros, Keyshot), additive manufacturing, and materials science. Outside the studio, I found myself at MAMCO Genève (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art) over weekends, engaging as a receptionist and observer, fostering a heightened appreciation for art culture and scenography.
Following a transformative five-month internship at the IKEA headquarters in Älmhult, Sweden, I have embarked on a new chapter in Berlin as a freelance industrial designer. In 2022, I proudly established my own studio and brand, BrunoAdrien. Within this dynamic space, I am crafting an array of everyday objects and decorative pieces, a selection of which you can explore on our recently launched webshop.
Thank you for immersing yourself in my portfolio. Should you wish to connect or inquire further, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Your interest is greatly appreciated!
